There are multiple charities & charity shops located all across Jávea, however as the majority of workers in these shops are volunteers, their opening and closing times are a little different from other clothing shops.
In a small Javea charity, a small amount of money can make a huge difference. What may not seem a lot to you, may be a huge helping hand to others. Not a lot of people have indispensable cash, but even 1 euro or 5 euro can make all the difference – and you don’t even have to donate money. A lot of local charities are always looking for volunteers to donate just a couple of hours of their time to helping their community in Javea. In a small charity, it is also more likely that you will see how that money is spent – you know face to face who is being helped and can become more personally involved with the cause.
When you donate, fundraise or volunteer for a small charity in Javea and tell your friends, you are helping raise awareness without even knowing it. Even a Facebook post or two can be a huge help to a small charity!

Strolling through the streets of the charming old town of Jávea will transport you, back in time, to the Middle Ages. A walk along its defensive walls to meet its main historic buildings will not disappoint you. In the old town you will experience a beautiful place with a rich heritage. After the Arab rule in 1244, Jávea was handed to the Crown of Aragon, but it was not until the early fourteenth century when it began to repopulate the zone needed to strengthen the territory due to continued conflict. In 1397 it obtained the Villa title belonging to the Marquess of Denia. View properties for sale in Javea old town
