Children’s Parks and Playgrounds in and around Jávea. So you’ve promised that you would take the kids to the children’s park, but you didn’t specify which one… that’s where we come in! There are multiple parks to choose from around Jávea, most of which should do the job of keeping your children entertained. Therefore, convenience regarding localitlity should be your main focus! Take a look at the parks below and their locations, and decide accordingly!
Is there anything that sounds more joyful than the sound of kids at play? The happiness on their faces and the sound of bliss in their voices show how much kids enjoy being able to play and engage with friendships in their community. Oftentimes, school and community playgrounds are the foundation of friendships that last years. Long-lasting friendships are not the only benefit of play and playgrounds.
Increased self-esteem, improved collaboration skills, enhanced critical thinking skills, and a strengthened immune system are just some of the high-level benefits children gain by being able to play.

Children Playground at the Arenal Beach
There are multiple locations in which your children will be able to play along the arenal beach. Offering a selection of jungle gyms to choose from as well as beach volleyball courts and a miniature football pitch, located at the Northern end of the Arenal. This would be my personal choice, as it allows the parents to perhaps grab a drink from one of the many bars in a ‘to-go’ cup and get lost in the spectacular view.
The Arenal Beach – is located just over 150m away from the Blanca Cars Office. To get there from the office one must…
Head NorthEast on the ‘Avenida Arenal’ and take any exit on the roundabout as any available parking space will be suitable.

A spot of history whilst the kids are off doing their thing!

Kids Playground at Pinosol Park in Javea
My personal favourite on the list, Pinosol has everything a kid could want from a play area, with an enormous jungle gym, an outdoor wooden gym, monkey bars, a table tennis table and if the children get bored of all that, there is also a section of the park ladened with sculptures, carved into the preexisting tree stumps that were damaged during the Jávea fires, which is now used to be an informative area for teaching the children about the local wildfire. The park also has a restaurant that serves delicious, fresh food at very reasonable prices, perfect for when the little ones have spent all their energy on the slides!

Kids Playground in Rafalet area in Javea
This time located in el Rafalet, this park offers a lot more than the previously mentioned green zone, boasting its own jungle gym and assault course. In my opinion, this is one of the best parks on the list with a wider variety of activities for the children, whilst still being secluded and relaxing for the parents.

Children Playground in Avenida Augusta Park
The last park on the list, is located just beside Mercadona. This park is far from a complete children’s park, only really featuring a slide and a few benches to sit and watch. This park can however be used as a ‘bargaining chip’ when it comes to making your children behave in the supermarket, with promises of going to the park when you are done!
Avenida Augusta Park – is located just under 2km NorthWest of the Arenal Beach. To get there from Javea Arenal one must…
Head southwest on the ‘Avenida Arenal’ and take the 1st exit on the roundabout joining ‘Ctra. del Cap de la Nau Pla’, then take the 2nd exit on the following roundabout and then the 1st exit at the next roundabout joining C. At the next roundabout go straight across and look for a parking space, as the park is on the opposite side of the road!
